How Family Reunion Policy Affects People in Wales

Current family reunion rules place huge barriers on which family members of refugees settled in the UK are allowed to reunite within the UK. For many families who have already experienced untold horrors, this enforced separation is heartbreaking and significantly adds to suffering. On Friday 16th March 2018,  MPs will vote on the Family Reunion Bill that would make vital changes needed to allow more refugee families, torn apart by war and persecution, to be reunited in safety in the UK.  Help us make sure as many MPs as possible take this opportunity by turning up to parliament that day and supporting this Bill.

What you can do:

  1. Read more about how current family reunion policy affects people in Wales. To do so download the Welsh or English version.
  2. Ask your MP to attend the debate and help bring refugee families together.

You can do this in four easy steps:

Step 1: Visit https://action.refugeecouncil.org.uk/savethedate/

Step 2: Type in your postcode and click submit

Step 3: Preview the email that will go to your MP in your name

Step 4: Click send! And you’re done!

Thank you in advance.
